REFUNDING POLICY

I. Ticket purchasing
1.1. All the tickets purchased online on the site tusvanyos.ro for the Bálványos Summer University and Student Camp – Tusványos are nominal, non-transferable and final. By finalizing the order, the participant confirms that he/she has acknowledged and has agreed to all the presented terms and conditions.
1.2. Orders placed on the site jegyek.tusvanyos.ro are confirmed through a registration e-mail received upon the finalization of the order. The ordered tickets are sent in PDF format through e-mail after the finalization of the order.
1.3. Upon the successful finalization of an online order, the user buyer receives on his/her specified e-mail address the purchased tickets (for example, if he/she has purchased 4 tickets, he/she will receive a .pdf file with 4 tickets), which he/she then may print out to be presented upon his/her entrance to the location of the event. Alternately, the user buyer may present the tickets in digital format, a version that we recommend. Access to the event for which the online tickets have been bought will be done on the basis of scanning the QR code on the ticket. The QR codes are unique and each QR code permits the entrance of one person to the event. Once a QR code has been scanned, another person cannot use it to enter the event. The QR codes are only valid when used together with a valid identification document, presented in the original. Copies or photos made of such identification documents will not be accepted.
1.4. Users can opt-in to receive commercial communications from the Organizer, such as promotional offers or event notifications, by voluntarily registering in the dedicated section on the home page of the website or by subscribing during the ticket ordering process. Subscription is only based on the explicit consent of the user, which can be withdrawn at any time.
1.5. After being redirected to the payment processor, users have a maximum of 15 minutes to pay for the order, otherwise the order will expire.
II. Customer relations
2.1. The organizer provides users with a point of contact in order to facilitate direct and fast communication regarding the services offered. This point of contact can be used for queries, clarifications or problems related to the use of the platform and is accessible via e-mail: tusvanyos@tusvanyos.ro.
2.2. All communication with our clients is done in writing only in order to be able to follow up the discussions and to be able to resolve the requests received as efficiently, quickly and carefully as possible.
III. Payment methods
For the purchase of tickets, the Organizer accepts payment by card:
3.1. Debit or credit card payments are processed by the Organizer’s partners in processing these payments through the payment system contracted from Banca Transilvania. The communication with the processors is made through a secure SSL connection, the transmitted data being encrypted. All card information will be processed exclusively by the payment processor.
3.2. By keeping active the Activate fast payments option, present in the online payment form made available to the Site Administrator by the payment processor, the user agrees to the activation of the service through which online payments can be made later on only by entering the security code CVC2/CVVV.
IV. Refunding of the ticket value
4.1. The amounts paid for tickets purchased to attend this event will not be refunded, as the purchase of tickets for performances and entertainment activities is exempted from the right of refund provided for by GEO 34/2014.
4.2. Thus, ticket prices will not be refunded, except in the following exceptional cases:
- Cancellation of the event by the organizer.
- Reprogramming of the event – the ticket remains valid for the new date.
- Technical error in processing the payment – if the payment was incorrectly processed due to a ticketing system error, refund will be analyzed and processed upon confirmation.
4.3. In case of the cancellation of the event, the purchased and online paid tickets may be refunded with the following conditions:
- A refund request is transmitted through e-mail to the address: tusvanyos@tusvanyos.ro;
- Only the value of the e-ticket (excluding any processing fees or bank charges) will be refunded to the account from which the payment was made, within 14 business days of receiving the refund request.
4.4. The organizer accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen tickets and/or passes. In such cases, there is no obligation to refund the amount paid or to replace the lost/stolen ticket or pass.
V. Reselling tickets
5.1. The reselling of tickets is strictly forbidden.
