REFUNDING POLICY

  1. Ticket purchasing

    1. All the tickets purchased online on the site jegyek.tusvanyos.ro for the Bálványos Summer University and Student Camp – Tusványos are nominal, non-transferable and final. By finalizing the order, the participant confirms that he/she has acknowledged and has agreed to all the presented terms and conditions.

    2. Orders placed on the site jegyek.tusvanyos.ro are confirmed through a registration e-mail received upon the finalization of the order. The ordered tickets are sent via a link in the email after the finalization of the order.

    3. Upon the successful finalization of an online order, the user buyer receives on his/her specified e-mail address the purchased tickets, which he/she then may print out to be presented upon his/her entrance to the location of the event. Alternately, the user buyer may present the tickets in digital format. Access to the event for which the online tickets have been bought will be done on the basis of scanning the QR code on the ticket. The QR codes are unique and each QR code permits the entrance of one person to the event. Once a QR code has been scanned, another person cannot use it to enter the event. The QR codes are only valid when used together with a valid identification document, presented in the original. Copies or photos made of such identification documents will not be accepted.

    4. Users can opt-in to receive commercial communications from the Organizer, such as promotional offers or event notifications, by voluntarily registering in the dedicated section on the home page of the website or by subscribing during the ticket ordering process. Subscription is only based on the explicit consent of the user, which can be withdrawn at any time.

    5. After being redirected to the payment processor, users have a maximum of 15 minutes to pay for the order, otherwise the order will expire.

    6. The ticket grants the holder a limited, revocable, and non-transferable right of access to the Event, under the conditions established by the Organizer, and does not constitute a property right or a guarantee of unconditional access.

  1. Customer relations

    1. The organizer provides users with a point of contact in order to facilitate direct and fast communication regarding the services offered. This point of contact can be used for queries, clarifications or problems related to the use of the platform and is accessible via e-mail: tusvanyos@tusvanyos.ro.

    2. All communication with our clients is done in writing only in order to be able to follow up the discussions and to be able to resolve the requests received as efficiently, quickly and carefully as possible.

  1. Payment methods

For the purchase of tickets, the Organizer accepts payment by card:

    1. Debit or credit card payments are processed by the Organizer’s partners in processing these payments through the payment system contracted from Banca Transilvania. The communication with the processors is made through a secure SSL connection, the transmitted data being encrypted. All card information will be processed exclusively by the payment processor.

    2. By keeping active the Activate fast payments option, present in the online payment form made available to the Site Administrator by the payment processor, the user agrees to the activation of the service through which online payments can be made later on only by entering the security code CVC2/CVVV.

  1. Refunding of the ticket value

    1. The amounts paid for tickets purchased to attend this event will not be refunded, as the purchase of tickets for performances and entertainment activities is exempted from the right of refund provided for by GEO 34/2014.

    2. Thus, ticket prices will not be refunded, except in the following exceptional cases:

  • Cancellation of the event by the organizer.

  • Reprogramming of the event – the ticket remains valid for the new date.

  • Technical error in processing the payment – if the payment was incorrectly processed due to a ticketing system error, refund will be analyzed and processed upon confirmation.

    1. In case of the cancellation of the event, the purchased and online paid tickets may be refunded with the following conditions:

  • A refund request is transmitted through e-mail to the address: tusvanyos@tusvanyos.ro;

  • Only the value of the e-ticket (excluding any processing fees or bank charges) will be refunded to the account from which the payment was made, within 14 business days of receiving the refund request.

    1. The organizer accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen tickets and/or passes. In such cases, there is no obligation to refund the amount paid or to replace the lost/stolen ticket or pass.

    2. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Bálványos Summer University and Student Camp – Tusványos is an educational camp, within which the main programs consist of speeches, presentations, debates, and cultural activities. The concerts organized within the Event have a secondary and complementary character and are not considered the main element of the Event.

    3. The Organizer reserves the right to take any measures it deems necessary to ensure the safety and proper conduct of the Event, including restricting access, modifying participant flow, or limiting access to certain areas, without such measures giving rise to any right to a refund.

    4. The Participant also acknowledges that access to the Event area and participation in certain programs may be limited for organizational or safety reasons, including as a result of reaching the maximum permitted capacity of participants.

    5. The Organizer’s decisions regarding access, security, ticket validity, and the enforcement of these rules are final and binding for Participants.

    6. In the situations mentioned above, namely in the case of restricted access, limitation of participation in certain programs, or changes to the structure of the Event program, the Participant is not entitled to a refund of the ticket price.

    7. The Organizer does not guarantee continuous access to the Event area, as temporary restrictions may be imposed for safety or organizational reasons.

    8. The Organizer does not guarantee the availability of an individual place, a preferred position, or unobstructed visibility during programs or concerts.

    9. Access to concerts organized within the Event is not guaranteed to all participants, as these are complementary programs subject to capacity limitations.

    10. Refusal of access to the Event area or removal of the Participant, in accordance with the Event Rules, does not entitle the Participant to a refund of the ticket price.

    11. Changes to the Event program, including changes to times, locations, or cancellation of individual activities, does not entitle the Participant to a refund of the ticket price.

    12. The Organizer does not guarantee the participation of any specific guest, speaker, artist, or moderator, and the program may be subject to changes without prior notice.

    13. The Organizer is not responsible for incorrect ticket purchases (e.g., wrong date, ticket type, number of tickets), and such situations do not entitle the Participant to a refund.

    14. The Organizer is not responsible for any malfunctions of telecommunications networks, internet service providers, or devices used by the Participant that may affect access to tickets or the Event, and such situations do not entitle the Participant to a refund.

    15. The Organizer is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Participant in connection with participation in the Event, including but not limited to transport, accommodation, fuel, or similar expenses, regardless of any changes to the Event program.

    16. The Organizer does not guarantee a specific subjective experience of the Participant and cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction related to personal preferences, program content, or performances of guests/artists.

    17. The Participant is responsible for complying with all applicable Event rules and for keeping the ticket and wristband safe.

    18. If the Participant voluntarily leaves the Event area, the Organizer does not guarantee the possibility of re-entry under the same access conditions.

    19. The Event consists of multiple distinct activities, and the inability to participate in one or more of them does not affect the general right of participation and does not constitute grounds for a refund.

  2. Reselling tickets

    1. The reselling of tickets is strictly forbidden.

    2. The use of tickets for unauthorized commercial purposes or for promotional purposes without the Organizer’s consent is prohibited and may result in their cancellation without the right to a refund.

    3. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or invalidate tickets purchased through fraudulent means or for the purpose of unauthorized resale, without any obligation to provide a refund.

  1. Final Clauses

    1. Participation in the Event is at the Participant’s own risk, the Participant assuming the inherent risks associated with attending a large-scale public event.

    2. By purchasing the ticket, the Participant confirms that they have read and fully accept this Refund Policy in its entirety.

    3. This Refund Policy is supplemented by the Event Rules and the General Terms and Conditions, which shall prevail in the event of any inconsistencies.

    4. By purchasing the ticket, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted this policy, as well as the Event Rules and the General Terms and Conditions of the Event.
